Before using podio in the dialer, User must set up their podio account. This is described in the below steps.

Create Account in

After the account is created, login to podio account.

Click on sign in.

After login is successful, create workspace as shown below

Click on Create. Then create app under this workspace as shown below

Add fields in the app as shown below

Please note these fields will appear in the dialer app after integration is successful.

Set up in podio is completed now

To integrate your Podio CRM in dialer, just click on your name, settings, integration then set up syncing.

You will now be asked to login to your account, please proceed by clicking Login to Podio.

Now, this will hit login API

If login is successful then will ask for permission to access client’s podio account

 click on “Grant Permission” to proceed.

If the connection is successful, you will see below confirmation. Please click on “OK” to be taken back to the integration screen.

We will now be setting up the information that will be sent to your crm, please click on “Manage Sync” corresponding to podio integration.

This will fetch existing mappings if any using list API and see below image

Click “Add New” on this that will open below image

Now, create sample mapping as shown below

Please select the correct “Podio Workspace” and “Workspace app” from the drop downs then set the activity name. The mapping window will now be available, simply match the the Batch dialer fields with the one’s for podio, this will dictate the information that will be sent over to your CRM and the fields they will be assigned to. Click save to keep the changes. This will save mapping in the dialer database which will be used when saving data to podio. Please see add_mapping API for details

Note: You may add multiple workspaces to the dialer.

It should take us back to the podio integration window, just click the “X” mark on the top right to close the screen.

To edit existing mapping click on pencil icon against mapping name as shown below

The integration is now complete, the trigger for this action can be set by editing the dispositions which information you want to be sent over to podio. To do this click on “Phone System” “Call Results” then the pencil icon corresponding to the disposition you want to use.

On the pencil icon against Mark as Lead option then Save the changes.

You are now all set, the next time the user marks the call result as successful sale then the dialer automatically sends data to Podio. User can see their results in podio account as shown below
