This guide will teach you how to add phone numbers to your account to use for making calls. You can import outside phone numbers or buy them straight from BatchDialer! Here you'll learn how to "Add Caller ID" and to "Buy Numbers".
After this guide, click HERE to learn about Step 3: Uploading Contacts
Start by going to "Phone system" in your menu and go to "Phone Numbers". Here you can add your own outside phone numbers by clicking "add caller ID" (as long as they can make outbound call AND receive inbound calls) or you can click "Buy number" to get them straight from BatchDialer (shown in the image below).
TIP: On the right of this page, add number groups. This could be something like "Arizona Phone Numbers" or "Morning Phone Numbers" / "Afternoon Phone Numbers" so you can easily select a group to use when you eventually create a campaign!
Buying Phone Numbers
To buy phone numbers from BatchDialer click on "Buy Number" (shown in image above). Select the state and area code to find your preferred phone numbers for the area you'll be calling into eventually. When you call your contacts, you'll want them to recognize the phone numbers you're calling from as they'll be more likely to answer the call.
Be sure to purchase enough phone numbers to accommodate your agents and the amount of calls you and/or your agents will be making in a day. Industry best practice recommends 150 dials per phone number per day. Each phone number is $4.00 monthly. You can assign your numbers to an agent, number group or call queue.
Click "order now" once done!
Adding a Caller ID
If you have a phone number of your own that you'd like to add, click "add caller ID" (shown in image above) and type your phone number and name it under "Caller ID Name".
NOTE: the "Caller ID Name" will NOT show up on your contacts phones when you call - in the example below, the user has simply named the phone numbers "my cell phone".
Click "call me" and you'll receive a phone call on the number you entered. An automated message will verbalize a confirmation code.
After you type the PIN code you heard on the automated call, click "Confirm".
